Lunoro is built to work entirely on your device. There is no Lunoro server, no account system, and no analytics or advertising SDKs — this policy explains exactly what little data touches the outside world, and why.
What Lunoro Stores
Your library — titles, series groupings, custom covers, reading progress, bookmarks, collections, and app settings — is stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage. None of it is transmitted to us, because we have no server to send it to.
If you link a local folder or an iCloud Drive folder, Lunoro reads files from that location to display your comics. Those files remain wherever you put them — in your device storage or your own iCloud account — and are never copied to a third party.
AniList Series Info
When you choose to link a series to AniList for extra details (genres, description, character art, score), Lunoro sends the series title you're searching for to AniList's public API to fetch matching results. This is a simple lookup — no account, sign-in, or personal information is involved or required.
Once you link a series, the returned info and images are cached on your device so your library stays fully browsable offline afterward.
Purchases
Lunoro+ subscriptions and Lunoro Premium are handled entirely by Apple through StoreKit. Lunoro never sees your payment details, card information, or billing address — that data belongs to Apple. We only receive confirmation of whether a purchase is active, so the app can unlock premium features.
What We Don't Do
- No account creation or sign-in
- No analytics, tracking, or usage telemetry
- No advertising or ad networks
- No selling, sharing, or monetizing of your data — because we don't collect any to begin with
- No cloud backup of your library outside of your own iCloud, if you choose to use it
Children's Privacy
Lunoro does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children, since the app has no data collection mechanism in the first place.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future feature introduces new data handling — this page will be updated and the "last updated" date above will reflect it.
